ABOUT

Anne Walker, MS, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

I am the owner of Playful Pathways and an occupational therapist with over 15 years of experience working with children. I love helping children with special needs, disabilities, and differences to achieve their full potential.

Play is often seen as a break from learning, but I believe that children learn best through play. When children learn through play they are challenged to develop their full potential without distress. Children at Playful Pathways are able to learn in a fun and engaging environment.

Evaluations

Each child develops at their own rate, but sometimes that development needs a little help. If you have concerns about your child's development, whether it is in fine motor (i.e. writing), gross motor (i.e. walking), feeding, sensory, or self-care, an evaluation is a good place to start.

Treatment

Consistent, weekly occupational therapy sessions can help your child develop functional, independent, daily life skills. Each child's plan of care is customized to their interests, strengths, and needs. Each session is designed in a fun and playful manner using experience and evidence-based strategies.
